I’m back to pretending my lower back doesn’t hurt. I’ve tried this before and it doesn’t really work. Anyway, I’ve managed to train BJJ 4 out of the last 5 days, which is pretty damn good for me. Goatfury fashioned another stripe on the old white belt, giving me 1 for each year I’ve trained.
This month at Revolution BJJ we’re focusing on takedowns and the knee-on-belly position. A long time ago I learned a spinning armbar from knee-on-belly (which I used today), and therefore learned what not to do from the bottom position. Today I finally learned something you can do. It’s pretty slick, too.
